Boston 2 Philadelphia 3 The flyers PP was deadly tonight in a 3-2 win. The Bruins fought back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to tie the game but it wasn't enough as Giroux's late PP goal turned out to the GWG
Boston 2 New Jersey 6 The B's didn't show up for opening night in NJ as the Devils raised the Eastern Conf. Championship banner. The Devils jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Zajak and Kovy. Rask got his first start of the season but was pulled after giving up 5 unanswered goals in the first 2 periods. Seguin got his first of the season late, followed by Krejci's first to make it 5-2. Krejci took a massive hit from Salvador on his next shift and did not return.
Krejci out 3 months with post-concussion syndrome
Boston 4 Montreal 1 The B's were desparate for a win in the first in a home and home with their arch-rivals and it showed tonight. Seguin opened the scoring early and Boston never looked back. The Marchand-Bergy-Seguin line has been dominate so far this season, that dominance continue tonight with 3 goals, 2 from Seguin and another from Marchand. Thomas was lights out stopping 34 of 35

Montreal 2 Boston 3 It was Price's turn to stand on his head in the Bruins' home opener as the B's poured it on for pretty much the full 60 minutes. Gionta opened the score for Montreal. Caron tipped in a Boychuk point shot and Lucic scored on a two on one with Horton to make it 2-1 in the second. With the score tied at 2-2 in the 3rd Seguin scored from the slot to win the game
Dallas 3 Boston 0 The Stars suffocated the Bruins offense for 2 periods and once they got it going they couldn't beat Lehtonen. Stars goals from Fiddler, Morin and Morrow
