So far I'm 7-1 in my Bruins dynasty, I'm definitely going to raise the difficulty to All-Star if i keep this up.
Horton has gone beast mode with 5 goals and 5 assists in 8 games.
I like realism, so I have Brian Rolston, Tim Thomas, and Marty Turco all playing in Providence lol. I don't want to be using them in Boston when i know they aren't in real life. I traded Marc Savard to Minnesota for Charlie Coyle as well.
I signed Alexander Frolov to be my 13th forward over Chris Bourque too.
I wish Dougie, Jared, Spoons, etc could be used in this season. Seems like i have to wait until next year

For the CHL guys you just go into player movement and move them from their CHL clubs to the Bruins if you want to have access to them. I also edited Dougie to bring him up to a 70 and edited a few other Bruins (Bergeron faster than Seguin, wtf?) You could also have just dropped Rolston and Turco to free agency.

Yes I realized that soon after and started a new one, only played 1 game of it. I won 3-1 against Philly.
Took Savard, Thomas, Rolston, Mottau, Turco off the team and added Khudobin, Knight, Spooner, Dougie.

Am I the only one finding this mode completely unplayable? I loved Be a GM in 12. It's always been my most played mode, but now I can't get through more than one season. First of all, the sim engine sucks. Rask shouldn't be leading the Bruins to a last place finish, and my leading scorer shouldn't be Krejci with 46 points when Marchand, Lucic, and Seguin play 75+ games each.
The overalls and player growth are terrible, too. I spend the year building my team to have three lines of 80+ OVR players. Then we hit the offseason, Lucic goes up by 4, Marchand by 5, Seguin by 1, Ryan Murray spends the year in the minors and goes up by 20. Hamilton goes up by 1? Krejci and Bergeron go down by 1, and then my entire third line dips to 78s and 77s. Then they all demand a ridiculous pay increase. It's almost impossible to build a top notch team.
I love the game. Gameplay is the best it's ever been, and so is the presentation. But I can't help but feel disappointed with this mode.

Gameplay is at it's worst.
My team is at 27-8-2 right now Ferrence is still one of my top point getters him and Lucic
I still hate how fragile my players are but somehow the other teams guys are made of steel

I have to disagree. I've found that the actual gameplay this year has been the most realistic it's ever been. It takes a little getting used to, but I've never had more fun playing the actual games.

I have voiced my opinion over at HF many times too tired at the moment here but I have found deeper in the game......deeper in game lagging goes.....they didn't fix the NHL 12 problem....there are a lot more problems
